Have you ever wanted to know how the particles of an active ingredient have been affected by being processed along with other ingredients in the formulation? Or what that odd looking particle is, and where on earth it came from?

Morphologically-Directed Raman Spectroscopy (MDRS) combines automated image analysis with Raman spectroscopy to help you answer these questions and many more! For each particle in your sample, MDRS provides an image, all of the particle’s size and shape parameters, and a Raman spectrum that can be used to identify the material.

In this webinar, we’ll show you how image analysis and Raman Spectroscopy are combined in the Morphologi 4-ID. And we’ll also discuss how you can use the data provided by MDRS to understand bioequivalence, investigate the size and shape of individual components in blends, and identify contaminant particles.
