This course covers the advanced use of wavelength dispersive XRF systems in combination with SuperQ software. Particular emphasis is placed on the use of SuperQ and Omnian software. Optimization of parameters, matrix effects, sample preparation, quantitative analysis, standardless analysis, calibration and calibration update, monitor correction and results analysis are dealt with extensively. The course is composed of mainly hands-on sessions carried out online using the Zetium spectrometers in our Application Competence Center, Almelo, The Netherlands. This 5 day course is intended for users who already have a good working knowledge of XRF, participated in the Basic or the Comprehensive XRF course for sequential/simultaneous WDXRF systems and want to concentrate on improving their knowledge of XRF, SuperQ software and its options.
After participating the SuperQ Advanced Software Course the user has in depth knowledge of the SuperQ and Omnian software and will be able to solve the more complex applications. Though many subjects are the same as those covered in the (10 days) XRF course for sequential/simultaneous systems, this course is targeted at a more experienced audience and can be seen as a solid refresher.

• Calibration, Matrix effect +amp;amp; Sources of errors
• Advanced Omnian analysis
• Calibration update +amp;amp; Drift correction
• Special functions and features of the software
