A viscometer, as the name implies, is an instrument used to measure the viscosity of a fluid. Viscometers come in different shapes and sizes, and range from simple inexpensive flow cups to more expensive rotational instruments. But what makes a viscometer a rheometer and which instrument do I really need for my application? In this webinar we discuss some of the key differences between viscometers and rheometers and highlight the advantages of rheological testing over basic viscosity testing.
