Rheology is defined as the science of deformation and flow and in particular refers to materials that show viscoelastic or non-Newtonian behaviour when stressed. Such materials include suspensions, emulsions, polymer solutions and foams to name but a few. Part 2 of this two part webinar series will focus on viscoelasticity, introducing the basic concepts and tests that can performed on a rotational rheometer to measure viscoelastic properties.
