Viruses and VLPs are an important and growing component of biologics within the pharmaceutical industry, with important applications for gene therapy and vaccine development. These biologics present characterization challenges distinct from more traditional biotherapeutics, with the possible additional complication of a less well established regulatory environment. Malvern Panalytical has developed and refined specific technologies (NTA and DLS) to address issues of importance for this application, emphasizing low-cost and rapid technologies for the counting and sizing of particles. In addition, Malvern Panalytical offers a rapid, low volume and higher throughput approach to assessing thermal stability (automated DSC).
Presentations from current industrial users and from Malvern Panalytical scientists will emphasize the current capabilities of these technologies, as well as requirements for future development, with emphasis on practical applications and value addition throughout the development pipeline.
This is a free one-day event from Malvern Panalytical. Seating is limited, so don't wait, sign up early to get your seat. Breakfast and Lunch to be provided.
