This intermediate 2-day course is designed to deliver comprehensive knowledge of Malvern's line of Viscotek GPC/SEC technologies.
Designed for Malvern customers who are currently using a new OMNISEC system, TDA 305, HT-GPC 350, 270 dual-detector, or RI only system and have a desire to gain full understanding of its detection possibilities as well as experience the power of our OmniSEC software package.
Kyle Williams is Application Scientist with Malvern Instruments specializing in the Separations instrumentation, including GPC and DSV and is joining us from our Houston office. He has experience analyzing a wide range of macromolecules, from polyolefins to organic materials to proteins and biopolymers. Kyle joined Malvern in 2010 from the University of Texas where he received his Ph.D. (2010) under Professor Chris Bielawski. His doctoral research focused on the development of novel N-heterocyclic carbene architectures for the synthesis and application of structurally dynamic materials.
John Erne is currently a Product Specialist covering Malvern's Separations line of instruments. He has a broad range of knowledge around GPC/SEC spanning everything from hardware to applications. John's background before Malvern was in LC/GC/IC analysis for the oil and gas and environmental sectors. He earned BS degrees in Chemistry and in Microbiology from the University of Oklahoma.
Carrie Schindler is currently a Technical Specialist with Malvern Instruments specializing in the Separations and Nanometric product lines. Carrie joined Malvern in 2014 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she received her Ph.D. (2014) in Materials Engineering. Her doctoral research focused on absorbable polymer blends and nanolithography on various polymer films.
