Epsilon XRF User Training - April

Malvern Panalytical is please to offer the Fundamental and practical techniques of X-ray Fluorescence analysis using the Epsilon 1 and Epsilon 4 bench top EDXRF spectrometer range are treated in this course. Particular emphasis is placed on the practical use of the spectrometer in conjunction with its software. Parameter selection, matrix effects, sample preparation, qualitative and quantitative analysis, standardless elemental analysis using Omnian, and calibration results will be addressed. The course is composed of lectures and practical sessions, covered by exercises and tutorials on the bench top systems, within our application laboratory, in Westborough Massachusetts.

The X-ray spectrometer
SDD detector and its properties
Instrumental parameters
Matrix effects
Sample preparation
Set-up application including calibration
Measurement of unknown samples
Standardless analysis
This is a paid course: Standard Industry $800 per day / Academic $400 per day

Complimentary coffee, tea and lunch will be provided. The customer is responsible for all other costs of hotel, transportation and additional meals outside of what is provided.
