The Protein Society is an international academic society focused on protein science. It was founded in 1985 and publishes the journal Protein Science. Scientists from various disciplines and over 50 countries claim membership. The society organizes annual symposium which hosts hundreds of participants from all over the world. The 2015 symposium is a 3.5 day forum focusing on all aspects of protein science, the meeting will take place in Barcelona, Spain, July 22-25, 2015.
The Program topics strike a balance between long-standing, traditional protein science elements for which the Society is and has been an acknowledged source of expertise, and the exploration of emerging protein methods and applications.
