About Claisse

Claisse is widely known as a provider of instruments, consumables as well as services in the field of sample preparation by fusion for XRF, AA, ICP and wet chemistry analysis. 


This Québec -based company has a history dating back to 1976, when the first automatic fusion instrument was invented by Dr. Fernand Claisse.  Over the time, Claisse went on to develop the first fused fluxes with integrated non-wetting agents as well as other highly performant instruments such as TheOx®, M4™, LeNeo®, and TheOx® Advanced.


Claisse was acquired by PANalytical in 2014, and since then, the idea of expanding its service offering and increasing even more the added value given to its customers grew stronger. Its mission is to act as a close partner for customers working with spectroscopy analysis and to use our cutting-edge expertise to enhance efficiency in their laboratory.
