Discover how visible near-infrared (Vis-NIR) spectroscopy is used for remote sensing and ground truthing purposes to optimize grasslands in the end-to-end precision agriculture process. This webinar features Malvern Panalytical’s ASD FieldSpec® 4 Hi-Res spectroradiometer and guest speaker Dr. Pullanagari Reddy of Massey University of New Zealand – School of Agriculture and Environment.

presentadores

Dr. Pullanagari Reddy was born and raised in an agricultural family in Mahabubnagar district located in the state of Telangana, India. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from Acharya NG Ranga Agriculture University (ANGRAU), Telangana, India, and a Master's degree in Agronomy from University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), GKVK, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He earned a PhD degree in an area of remote sensing from the School of Agriculture and Environment, Massey University, and has been working as a senior research officer in this same group since the completion of his PhD. Dr. Reddy’s main area of interest is precision agriculture studies where he works on hyperspectral sensing and imaging combined with advanced analytics such as machine learning and statistical learning techniques to create useful and robust information from the remote sensed data.
