Analysis of additives and catalyst residues in polyolefins (PE,PP) using ADPOL standards

This work demonstrates the capabilities of the Epsilon 1 calibrated with ADPOL calibration standards.

XRF is a well-established solution for screening and quantification of additives and catalyst residues in polyolefins. The results clearly demonstrate the capability of Epsilon 1 for the analysis of Al, Si, P, S, Ca, Ti and Zn in polyolefins, without the need of helium. The excellent repeatability of the measurements demonstrate that the Epsilon 1 is a very stable instrument to contribute to your product consistency. Furthermore, the high resolution and sensitivity of the silicon drift detector combined with powerful software algorithms make it possible to quantify accurately additive and catalyst residues.
