Installation of the first Morphologi G3-ID
Hi, It’s Debbie here again and once more I have been on my travels.
I am thrilled to be able to report we have successfully installed the first Morphologi G3-ID.
My colleague Ben Pattison (Systems Engineer) and I travelled to Zagreb, in Croatia, in the last week of September and installed the system at PLIVA (which is part of the Teva) and provided training to the new users.
The Analytical Imaging team, here at Malvern Instruments, have been building up to this moment for some time and it was great to see the system in action at the first customer site…….And we hadn’t even launched it yet!
Here is a picture of our distributor, Frank Vrecle of Femto Systems, and I outside the PLIVA building.
Interestingly minutes after we left, PLIVA were visited by the vice president of Croatian government.
Below is the link to Croatian Daily Business News informing us that PLIVA is investing around 200 Million US$ of Pliva’s own assets and creating about 200 new jobs….

Sounds like there will be plenty of users for the Morphologi G3-ID then!
The Morphologi G3-ID system was actually launched on October the 2nd when Carl Levoguer and I presented a web seminar describing the system and showing it in action live.
We had a great response to the launch and plenty of questions. The link to the recording will be available soon so keep an eye out on our website if you missed it. We will also answer the questions received in another blog coming soon.
I’m looking forward to hearing about more potential applications for the systems from you, so don’t hesitate to contact us if you think you may have one.
