The ASD software (RS^3 and Indico Pro) uses National Marine Electronics Assoc. (NMEA) text output from a GPS receiver. Specifically, the software uses the GGA (i.e., fix) sentence structure. Your GPS receiver will need to be able to output NMEA 0183 GGA sentence text in order to work with the ASD software.
