Panelist: Ed Duke holds a B.S. degree from Beloit College and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Dartmouth College. Currently he is Professor of Geology at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and also serves as Director of the Engineering and Mining Experiment Station at SDSM&T and Director of the South Dakota Space Grant Consortium and South Dakota NASA EPSCoR Program (Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research). His recent research focuses on applications of field-based infrared spectroscopy and hyperspectral remote sensing to characterize processes in metamorphic rocks.
