The use of nanoparticles as drug delivery vehicles has seen a large amount of research and investment over the last decade as they have the potential for great benefits in the targeting and efficacy of drug treatments. The interest in them is largely to do with the ability to use them as drug carriers and/or complete surface modifications which can assist in targeting within the body.
Despite the substantial research and interest in the arena, there is still great difficulty in understanding the amount of loading within or on the surface of these drug delivery vehicles. This webinar provides an overview of some of the research within the arena and in particular around nanoparticle surface modifications, along with providing some research data on how recent developments in resonant mass measurement characterization tools can greatly assist in understanding the amount of material within or on the (nanoparticle) carrier.
