In the second webinar of this series, we go beyond size to look at how shape and chemistry impact drug substance, formulation and process development at a particle level. We’ll discuss how automated image analysis enables the morphological analysis of both dry and wet dispersions, including the characterization of highly potent Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) with minimal sample volumes. We’ll then give case studies highlighting how Morphologically-Directed Raman Spectroscopy (MDRS) with the Morphologi 4-ID can be used to carry out in-vitro bioequivalence (IVBE) studies, investigate process changes, troubleshoot problem formulations and more.
