It’s a winner!

Well, what a great way to start a trade show!

I’m currently in the historic city of Nürnberg in Germany, where Malvern is exhibiting at this year’s Powtech/Technopharm event. I’m here with the new Mastersizer 3000 on the Malvern stand. We’re also holding a series of interactive customer workshops along side the show, giving peiople the chance to see the new system and also understand how important particle science is to the life of a Malvern product manager! If you want to find out more, come along to the Malvern stand in Hall 9-306 to grab an invitation. It would be great to see you!

The excitement is high for us, as we launch the Mastersizer 3000 to the Powtech audience for the first time. So, it was an extra bonus and a great honour to be part of the Malvern team that last night collected an Innovation Award for the Mastersizer 3000 system. This is the fourth time at Powtech that the magazines PROCESS, PharmaTEC and Schüttgut have presented their Innovation Awards, and our new system won the Particle/Material Analysis and Characterization category.

I’d like to think that having the widest measurement range on the market in a single instrument  (10 nanometers to 3.5 milllimetres), offering major advances in dry dispersion, and featuring software that brings Malvern expertise direct to the user during measurements, were all contributing factors in the Mastersizer 3000’s success. The design of the system also impresses, with customers being amazed that such a small, good looking system can pack in so much performance. It’s certainly attracting a lot of attention from the visitors here.

If you are at Powtech then do come along to our stand Hall 9-306 where you can take a look for yourself at the Mastersizer 3000 as well as a whole host of other Malvern products on display, including the Insitec, Morphologi G3 and Zetasizer Nano systems. Or visit www.malvern.com.

Here’s looking forward to another great day at the show!
