NanoSight NS500 Zeta Potential Analysis

NanoSight NS500 Zeta Potential Analysis Flow Chart for Use with NTA Software Versions 3.1 and 3.2

Introduction

The NanoSight NS500 instrument is able to generate high resolution particle-by-particle zeta potential measurements when fitted with the zeta potential option. Zeta potential measurements are derived at the same time as particle size data enabling users to have a direct verification of the impact of a particles' size to its zeta potential as well as the overall colloid stability of the sample.

The flow charts in this document provide a walk through of how to start  and prime the fluidic systems of the NS500, find the correct measurement location, load a sample, generate and run a zeta potential script, flush and shut down the system.
