Characterization of catalysts and nanomaterials

Malvern Panalytical’s Empyrean XRD platform can be equipped with an Anton Paar high-pressure chamber for in situ activity measurements of catalysts, allowing catalyst optimization under the widest range of process conditions saving you time and money. Along with small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), this combination of platforms is perfectly suited for analyzing nanoparticle sizes and shapes. The pre-aligned fast interchangeable PreFIX modules can modify a typical XRD setup to a SAXS setup for nanomaterials analyses in approximately 5 minutes.

Zetium XRF systems provide accurate elemental analysis of both hetero- and homogenous catalysts. For example the determination of heavy metal concentrations by Zetium provides a cost-effective and efficient alternative to fire assay determination of precious metals.
