Granulated particles are multiparticle aggregates formed by binding primary powder particles with a binder. In pharmaceutical wet granulation, high-shear and fluidized bed granulation are widely used, each producing granules with distinct particle morphologies and bulk powder behaviors due to differences in granulation mechanisms and energy input. Understanding these differences is critical for efficient formulation and process selection.

This webinar presents a practical, integrated solution combining Morphologi particle morphology analysis and FT4 Powder Rheometer bulk behaviour characterization. Morphologi provides detailed, quantitative insight into particle size, shape, and surface characteristics, while FT4 directly measures dynamic flow, shear, and compression behavior relevant to real manufacturing conditions.

By directly comparing wet granules produced by high-shear and fluidized bed processes, this approach clearly links what particles look like to how they behave in bulk. The webinar demonstrates how combining Morphologi and FT4 enables more confident development supports formulation development, scale-up, and QbD/PAT implementation.
