X-ray diffraction is the ideal tool for direct quantification of the mineralogical composition of raw materials, clinker and cement products. CubiX³ Cement features a detector designed for rapid data collection and sample measurement takes less than five minutes. Specially configured for high-throughput production and process control in cement industries, the diffractometer can be integrated in an automation setup for a variety of sample types (e.g. 40 mm or 51 mm rings) and fed by a robot or a transport belt.

Application support for turnkey cement solutions

Users have the option of tailor-made Rietveld solutions, as well as the ability to customize general solutions. Larger laboratories can also be set up to develop central solutions using the full HighScore Plus suite, which can then be deployed to a plant-wide network of CubiX3 Cement instruments. 

RoboRiet runs at the production plants. It enables the operator to run such Rietveld quantifications completely automatically and transfers the results to a customer defined destination (LIMS, paper, table…)

High-speed sample throughput featuring quick turnaround times

Ultra-fast sample loading in combination with a high-speed linear detector such as X’Celerator allow a higher sample throughput that enables the user to control their processes more effectively. Measurement times of 5 minutes can be easily achieved.

Push-button measurements for easy operation and virtually no learning curve

CubiX³ Cement makes data collection, analysis and reporting straightforward. Every step can be fully automated and Malvern Panalytical’s software range supports the specialized analytical techniques required by cement producers. Specific industry regulation compliance is built in.

CubiX³ Cement building materials analysis uses Malvern Panalytical’s Industry software that includes classical phase quantification such as free lime analysis.

Robust design for industrial environments

The robust design of the CubiX³ Cement allows the use of the X-ray diffractometer even in remote and dusty locations. The goniometer, optics and detectors are dust protected inside the enclosure to prevent unexpected downtimes.
