X-Ray diffraction (XRD) technique is an important non-destructive material characterization analytical tool for investigating condensed matter in powder, single crystal and thin film forms. From research to production, XRD is an indispensable technique for material characterization providing detailed information about the internal lattice of crystalline substances. In order to create a platform of XRD data analysis, directed towards young scientists and academicians, Malvern Panalytical is proudly partnering with Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore for free 2 days online workshop by eminent Industrial specialists, Professors and Researchers.

The major emphasis of this workshop relies with the acquisition of reliable experimental data and qualitative phase identification using both manual and automated search techniques. The participants will also have hands-on experience of XRD data analysis through appropriate software programs including the data analysis using the technique of Rietveld refinement of powder diffraction data and the live demo of Malvern Panalytical's latest range of X-ray diffractometers. Our diffractometers - Aeris compact powder XRD and Empyrean series 3 multipurpose XRD - have been improved to enable users to achieve superior data quality in faster measurement times. More importantly, considering operator ease of use with the help of AI and push button operations. Hence no need to change or align any complicated optics. Plus you can pre-load samples and step away from your instrument and let the instrument analyse for you.

Please remember to download our HighScore Plus XRD software for day 2 which concentrates on data analysis. If you do not already have the demo license, kindly request via here. To view Day 2's recorded workshop, click here
