At Malvern Panalytical, (referred to in this Privacy Notice as “Malvern Panalytical”, “we” or “us”) we take your privacy seriously. We see it as our duty of care to keep personal data safe and to ensure that all personal data is used and stored in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

2. WHY ARE COLLECTING YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

With your consent, we will be collecting and processing your personal data to allow our website administrators to manage and improve our website’s performance and its usefulness you.

3. WHAT PERSONAL DATA WILL WE COLLECT?

We will be collecting your image and voice through a recorded video interview, contact details such as your name and email address, and your website traffic data as we ask you to navigate certain areas our website.

4. FOR HOW LONG DO WE RETAIN YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes set out above and as communicated to you at the time of collecting your personal data.

5. WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Your personal data will be available to only those who need access to the data, including Malvern Panalytical and certain third parties, such as IT software and services suppliers, governmental or regulatory bodies, and only to either meet the purpose specified in Section 3 “Why are collecting your personal data?” or where necessary to comply with a legal obligation We will take appropriate measures to ensure that your personal data is appropriately safeguarded.

6. HOW IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA SECURED?

Malvern Panalytical has taken adequate safeguards to ensure the confidentiality and security of your personal data, including implementing appropriate technical, physical and organisational measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, damage, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access as well as all other forms of unlawful processing (including, but not limited to, unnecessary collection) or further processing.

You have a number of rights under applicable data protection law in respect of our processing of your personal data. These include the right to withdraw your consent, to request access, rectify, (subject to certain conditions) erase, restrict or transfer, or file a complaint with a data protection authorities. Note that, in order for us to respond to your request, we may require you to verify your identity. 

Please be aware that some (or all) of these rights may not be available to you in your jurisdiction. Furthermore, we may reject requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort (for example, developing a new system or fundamentally changing an existing practice), risk the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical.
