Our Employee Honored as a Contributor to the Powder Industry

On November 10, 2020, Toshihiro Miwa, one of our process technical specialists, was honored as a contributor to the powder industry at the Autumn Regular Meeting of the Association of Powder Process Industry and Engineering, JAPAN (APPIE).



“Powder industry contributors” are recognized for greatly contributing to the advancement of the powder industry through the research and development, manufacturing, sales, and engineering services related to powder and powder equipment.

Mr. Miwa joined the Spectris Malvern Business Unit, the predecessor of the current Spectris Malvern Panalytical Division, and has been involved in the business of integrating particle size and particle size distribution measurement instruments into powder manufacturing processes for 18 years.


During that time, he has installed numerous customized measuring instruments tailored to individual customers’ production lines, significantly contributing to reducing labor at manufacturing sites and improving the quality of powder produced on the line, which was recognized, leading to this honor.

We deeply appreciate all those involved and those who have supported us. Additionally, Malvern Panalytical will continue to contribute to the development of the powder industry in the future.
