Providing sample storage and automated sample loading, the Sample Assistant allows walk-away NTA data generation which requires less than 30 minutes hands-on time for up to 96 samples. Full protocol flexibility is available via an easy-to-use software interface. Robust cleaning methods and additional sample mixing provide confidence in sample quality at the time of measurement. Data from 96 samples analyzed in triplicate can be generated in as little as 15 hours.

How it works

The Sample Assistant stores up to 96 samples and then automatically loads them to the NanoSight instrument. NTA data for 3x 60 second captures can be generated for 96 samples in as little as 16 hours, with under 30 minutes of hands-on operator time, freeing up valuable time for other tasks.

A dedicated, intuitive software interface allows measurement parameters to be set the same for all samples or groups of samples, or alternatively, each sample can have different measurement parameters applied.  All parameters are  defined before starting measurements, decreasing any user-associated inconsistencies. These parameters include:

  • Capture duration
  • Number of repeat measurements
  • Sample advance or flow mode
  • Camera level
  • Sample mixing
  • Detection threshold
  • Measurement temperature

The Sample Assistant provides robust washing between samples to prevent any cross-contamination, whilst the optional mixing function ensures sample homogeneity.
