Hierarchical porous materials contain complex pore networks that cannot always be fully described by surface area and pore size distribution alone. This webinar explores physisorption hysteresis and Differential Hysteresis Scanning (DHS) as tools for gaining deeper insight into pore connectivity and hierarchical porosity using the 3Flex. Using ordered mesoporous carbon as a case study, complementary SAXS measurements with Empyrean will provide additional structural insight into the pore architecture.

Speakers

  • Pearl Kim - Applications Lead, Malvern Panalytical
