Features

  • Easy communication: USB and network connections for standard computer peripherals support extended use, application development, and seated operator.

  • Spillage protection: a spillage protection foil is in place to shield the delicate heart of the system. In case of spillage, the foil can be replaced easily by the operator.

  • Self-contained system: A built-in computer running Windows 10 with a powerful CPU and 120 GB hard drive ensures flexibility to store and handle thousands of results. The high-resolution, 10.4” LCD touch screen is ideal for easy walk-up operation. To operate the analyzer, plug into a standard mains connection, and it is ready to power on.

  • Sample calibration: for sample types that can't be calibrated, you can use a generic method to analyze elemental composition of a single sample with the Epsilon 1. Use our standardless Omnian software, combining twenty generic samples with the power of physics. Omnian can quantify elemental composition for a wide variety of sample types, including polymers and liquids.

Robust and flexible quantification

Epsilon 1 will be pre-calibrated in the factory for analyzing of Pt, Pd and Rh in spent automotive catalytic convertors. Put loose powder in a sample cup and measure directly.

The accuracy of the method is validated by measuring Certified Reference Materials. The results clearly demonstrate the capability of Epsilon 1 for the analysis of valuable precious metals Pt, Rh and Pd in catalytic converters.
